Space Art Part I: A Purple Galaxy

I’m currently reading a Star Trek Next Generation pocket book, and its cover has a galaxy in a bottle on it; which inspired me to start exploring starry sky paintings. I decided to make a dark base-coat of purple and then add some highlights of green, blue and pink with my knife. The finished painting is now hanging in my living room.
